How to terminate lessons early

-
If you wish to discontinue lessons before the agreed-upon time, let me know in person or via email. Within 3 business days of notification, I will send you my “Early Cessation of Lessons” form for you to fill out and submit to officially end your lessons. Please note that you are still responsible for the payment (in full) of that month’s lessons.
-
Once you first inform me (whether verbally or via email) that you wish to discontinue lessons, I will continue to teach for the remainder of that month, but I will not teach in the next month.
-
There will be an assessed termination fee equal to the cost of lessons for one month.
-
If you do not submit the “Early Cessation of Lessons” form by the end of the month that you notify me of your intent to discontinue lessons, I will charge you for the month that you submitted the form in addition to the termination fee.
-
Example: You notify me in March that you wish to end lessons. I will send you the “Early Cessation of Lessons” form to fill out and submit. I will continue to teach for the remaining (if any) lessons in March and once March ends, I will discontinue lessons. If you submit the form before April 1st, you owe me for lessons in March (as usual) and the assessed termination fee. If you submit the form after March 31st, you owe me in full for April’s lessons (even though I will not teach you in April) in addition to the assessed termination fee.
-
I reserve the right to terminate lessons immediately if I feel that my health or safety are endangered by giving lessons to you. You still owe me in full for the month that I terminated, even if I did not teach all of the scheduled lessons in that month.
